Puppy Playground!

We took the kids up Ephraim canyon on Sunday . They ran and ran and ran and ran! I think by evening they had actually worn themselves out! They are much less monster like when they are asleep! :) They both weigh over 60 lbs. and Jaro has shot up about 4in more than his sis. We just moved out to Fairview Ut, about a month ago and they have a huge backyard full of deer and other critters to chase. I think they are in heaven. They were actually born right here in Sanpete County. We all feel right at home here- Hope you are all well. Erin

Avey & jaro's first snowkite event!

Jaro and Avey had the opportunity to enjoy their very fist Snowkite event this past weekend. They were very well behaved and didn't even chase the kites as we had feared. They are growing up so fast! Jaro is a good 3 to 4 inches taller than his sis and tries to let her know it. We had to get them coats as their little bums were freezing in all that wind and snow, but don't they look cute! It was a little crowded so I didn't get to kite but I did manage to get the snowmobile stuck and it took Chris and I with the help of a few other people and one other snowmobile about two hours to get it out! Well if you are going to get it stuck it might as well be a good one. Thank you all for checking in and I hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday season! Take care. Er

On a Hike and more info

Just some more info on the monsters! Avey is the Silver or lighter of the two. We weighed them 10 days ago and she was 14 lbs. She thinks she is the boss and she is wicked stubborn like her mom. :) Avey is short for Avalanche (silly I know but it fits, trust me). Jaro is short for Kilimanjaro very fitting also since he is very tall and strong. He is what they call a Blue- and isn't preferred among breeders but we think he is perfect and beautiful. He was 13.8 lbs a little lighter than his chubby sis. I think she likes to lounge around like me and he would rather be bouncing around like Chris. They love the hikes we have been taking them on- if they weren't so damn fast I would have some pics of them playing in the creek! Maybe next post. Avey is a little more nervous and outspoken; outyippen is probably more accurate. Jaro is quiet and independent. We had a break through this week when Jaro let himself down the stairs and onto the lawn to potty all by himself. They grow up so fast! :) They are both wonderful snugglers so I am happy! Well hope you and yours are all happy and well. Check again soon for another update! Erin

Welcome Jaro and Avey

For all of you that have requested pictures of the newest members to our family, may I present Jaro and Avey!
They are almost 11 weeks old as of this post and they are keeping us very, very, very busy.
Chris has wanted these guys for years and in a moment of weakness and impulse well, we got them. Anyone who knows me can see how I could not resist the temptation of having these two join our already crazy lives. Why not, whats two high energy puppies that will soon enough be high energy 70lb dogs!
Chris plans on taking them to Baja and to the mountains to kite and I plan to cuddle up with them every night and listen to them snore while they dream their little puppy dreams.
We love them and can't wait for any of you that haven't had a chance to meet them to do so! I hope all is well with all of you :) Erin
